Justicia chapadensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Justicia chapadensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 1895.
