Justicia chol merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko tenggara. Nama ilmiah Justicia chol pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Franklin Daniel pada tahun 1995.
