Justicia chrysocoma merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia timur laut hingga Venezuela barat laut. Nama ilmiah Justicia chrysocoma pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Emery Clarence Leonard pada tahun 1958.
