Justicia macrantha merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Justicia macrantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1841.
