Justicia mendax adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Justicia mendax pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustav Lindau pada tahun 1993.
