Justicia odora merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia, Afrika Selatan, hingga Jazirah Arab. Nama ilmiah Justicia odora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Forsskål pada tahun 1785.
