Justicia phlebodes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko utara (hingga Nayarit). Nama ilmiah Justicia phlebodes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Emery Clarence Leonard pada tahun 1948.
