Kengyilia thoroldiana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China utara dan barat hingga Sikkim. Nama ilmiah Kengyilia thoroldiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Daniel Oliver pada tahun 1992.
