Kennedia coccinea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia Barat. Nama ilmiah Kennedia coccinea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Curtis pada tahun 1805.
