Kennedia rubicunda merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland hingga Victoria. Nama ilmiah Kennedia rubicunda pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Voorhelm Schneevoogt pada tahun 1805.
