Kniphofia foliosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Kniphofia foliosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Ferdinand Friedrich Hochstetter pada tahun 1844.
