Kniphofia hirsuta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape timur hingga Lesotho. Nama ilmiah Kniphofia hirsuta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Leslie Edward Wostall Codd pada tahun 1966.
