Kniphofia insignis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Ethiopia tengah. Nama ilmiah Kniphofia insignis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alfred Barton Rendle pada tahun 1896.
