Kniphofia stricta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape bagian timur laut hingga Lesotho barat daya. Nama ilmiah Kniphofia stricta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Leslie Edward Wostall Codd pada tahun 1960.
