Kniphofia thomsonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga Tanzania utara. Nama ilmiah Kniphofia thomsonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1885.
