Koeleria cheesemanii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Koeleria cheesemanii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1916.
