Kokoona zeylanica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India selatan, Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Kokoona zeylanica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Henry Kendrick Thwaites pada tahun 1853.
