Kosmosiphon azureus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Kosmosiphon azureus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustav Lindau pada tahun 1913.
