Kosteletzkya diplocrater merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Kosteletzkya diplocrater pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bénédict Pierre Georges Hochreutiner pada tahun 1955.
