Kumara plicatilis merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Kumara plicatilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gordon Douglas Rowley pada tahun 2013.
