Lachenalia schelpei adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asparagaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat (Pegunungan Hantamsberg). Nama ilmiah Lachenalia schelpei diperkenalkan oleh Winsome Fanny ('Buddy') Barker pada tahun 1984.
