Lachnaea gracilis merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Lachnaea gracilis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1841.
