Lachnaea penicillata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Lachnaea penicillata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1841.
