Lachnagrostis aemula adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Papua, selatan dan Australia Timur, Pulau Lord Howe. Nama ilmiah Lachnagrostis aemula diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Brown pada tahun 1820.
