Lachnagrostis elata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Lachnagrostis elata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elizabeth Edgar pada tahun 1995.
