Lacistema polystachyum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lacistemataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Lacistema polystachyum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Adalbert Carl Friedrich Hellwig Conrad Schnizlein pada tahun 1857.
