Lacmellea aculeata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Lacmellea aculeata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Adolpho Ducke pada tahun 1945.
