Lacmellea arborescens merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Selatan bagian barat hingga Brazil bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Lacmellea arborescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1941.
