Lagerstroemia tomentosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari India (Kerala), China (Yunnan), hingga Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Lagerstroemia tomentosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1845.
