Lagerstroemia villosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Yunnan barat daya) hingga Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Lagerstroemia villosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1873.
