Lantana hirta merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Lantana hirta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Graham pada tahun 1826.
