Lapsana communis subsp. intermedia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Mediterania dan Iran. Nama ilmiah Lapsana communis subsp. intermedia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich August Marschall von Bieberstein pada tahun 1931.
