Larix kaempferi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan japanese larch. Nama ilmiah Larix kaempferi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Aylmer Bourke Lambert pada tahun 1856.
