Larrea nitida merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Zygophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili utara dan tengah hingga Argentina. Nama ilmiah Larrea nitida diperkenalkan oleh Antonio José Cavanilles pada tahun 1800.
