Lasiacis oaxacensis var. maxonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko tenggara hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Lasiacis oaxacensis var. maxonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jason Richard Swallen pada tahun 1978.
