Lasiacis scabrior adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Venezuela dan Peru. Nama ilmiah Lasiacis scabrior diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Albert Spear Hitchcock pada tahun 1927.
