Lasianthus hirtus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sumatra hingga Sulawesi. Nama ilmiah Lasianthus hirtus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henry Nicholas Ridley pada tahun 1909.
