Lasianthus repens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Lasianthus repens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frank Nigel Hepper pada tahun 1962.
