Lasianthus stercorarius merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia bagian barat dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Lasianthus stercorarius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig Blume pada tahun 1826.
