Lasiosiphon caffer adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mozambique hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Lasiosiphon caffer diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1857.
