Lathyrus multiceps merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili tengah hingga Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Lathyrus multiceps diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Dominique Clos pada tahun 1847.
