Lathyrus neurolobus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kriti barat. Nama ilmiah Lathyrus neurolobus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1849.
