Lathyrus pseudocicera merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania selatan dan timur hingga Iran. Nama ilmiah Lathyrus pseudocicera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Renato Pampanini pada tahun 1924.
