Launaea cervicornis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Baleares (Mallorca, Menorca). Nama ilmiah Launaea cervicornis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1934.
