Launaea secunda merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Afghanistan hingga Nepal. Nama ilmiah Launaea secunda pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1881.
