Lebeckia ambigua merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat. Nama ilmiah Lebeckia ambigua diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Heinrich Friedrich Meyer pada tahun 1836.
