Lecanopteris carnosa merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi (Minahassa). Nama ilmiah Lecanopteris carnosa diperkenalkan oleh Caspar Georg Carl Reinwardt pada tahun 1828.
