Lechea minor merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Cistaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada tenggara hingga Amerika Serikat bagian timur dan timur-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan thymeleaf pinweed. Nama ilmiah Lechea minor pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
