Lecythis lurida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lecythidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil utara dan timur. Nama ilmiah Lecythis lurida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Miers pada tahun 1981.
