Lecythis zabucajo merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lecythidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan paradise nut. Nama ilmiah Lecythis zabucajo diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jean Baptiste Christophore Fusée Aublet pada tahun 1775.
